Ivanhoe is a small city located in Southwest, MN in Lincoln County. We were named from the novel Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott. This is where we get our nickname "The Storybook Town". The 2020 Census lists Ivanhoe as a community of 617. Ivanhoe has been the county seat since 1902.
Ivanhoe is proud of our Polish Heritage. The annual Polska Kielbasa Days "Polish Days" is held the second weekend in August. You will find softball, polish sausage and other ethnic foods, fireworks, parade and evening entertainment. This is a family friendly event which brings people from around the country home for the weekend.
